As a newly minted Paleo-eater I found Passover much more difficult than I expected. The foods that we avoid on Paleo are pretty much the same as the ones we avoid for Passover. What I didn't count on was the pull of tradition. Matzoh balls, fried matzoh, macaroons, Passover chocolate in a dozen different varieties. All conspired to draw me from the path. And I did stray. And now I pay. If nothing else, Passover served to remind me of why I try to live Paleo.
